in the AI Matters project
The MADE 4.0 national competence center in Milan leads the Node, which also includes the information systems company Engineering Ingegneria Informatica, responsible for data sharing, and the Bruno Kessler Research Foundation an expert in the practical implementation of IOT vision, fog and edge AI services. With their offices and facilities the Node-partners cover all of Italy’s industrial regions.

MADE I 4.0 Competence Center
MADE Competence Center I 4.0 is one of 8 Italian Competence Centers recognized as Digital Innovation Hubs by the European Commission.
MADE's mission is to lead the digital and sustainable transformation of enterprises by providing companies with a comprehensive portfolio of services: informing and showcasing Industry 4.0 technologies (E), developing business and financial plans for digital transformation (B), illustrating them with specific training activities (S), and then transferring and implementing technology solutions through projects (Test Before Invest).
MADE thus acts as a technical partner that companies can turn to not only to manage innovation activities, technology transfer, applied research and assistance during the implementation of 4.0 and AI technologies.
FBK Bruno Kessler Foundation
The Science and Technology Hub of FBK provides facilities for more than 350 researchers. Specifically, the Centre for Digital Industry will contribute with its extensive experience in digital AI solution.
With its 3,500 square meters of laboratories and scientific infrastructure and a community of more than 450 researchers, 140 doctoral students, 200 visiting fellows and theses, and 700 affiliated and accredited students overall, the Bruno Kessler Foundation serves as a science and technology hub, its locations and platforms hosting a vibrant ecosystem of co-located initiatives, spin-offs, projects and educational opportunities.
